How Equity Thru Energy Can Save You Money
The ETE Smart Controllers available at no cost through the M2M Controls for Restaurant HVAC and Hot Water program can manage all of the heating, air conditioning, exhaust and hot water systems in a restaurant. The careful monitoring and control of these systems with ETE equipment may provide restauranteurs excellent opportunities to save 10% to 35% in gas and electric consumption. For example:
• HVAC-- Many restaurants that have HVAC and hood exhaust systems are prone to wasting energy because they typically have many small package units rated between 2 and 12 tons of cooling and an exhaust and make-up air system that are prone to being unbalanced. The Smart Controllers from ETE can prevent conditioned air from being vented through exhaust hoods.
• Hot Water--The typical hot water boilers in a restaurant that serves its meals on washable dishware can generally consume 40% of the total gas for the restaurant. This portion of the gas bill could be reduced up to 35% by controlling the water temperatures by installing a Smart Control device from ETE.
The Smart Controllers from ETE can set time-temperature schedules for each day of the week yet easily be changed to accommodate special occasions. ETE Smart Controller will wirelessly transmit system data to our computers where the performance of your systems are monitored. ETE notifies its customers of improper system conditions. Using wireless technology, the ETE Smart Controller will upload system data to our servers on the web. The data we collect is easily downloaded from the web to generate reports, to optimize savings and to inform repair vendors.
Remote only access to ETE Smart Controllers eliminates tampering with control temperatures. Our system can identify water leaks from broken or open faucets, and from broken underground water pipes that would normally go undetected. ETE will train maintenance and vendor technicians to ensure proper installation and operation of energy-saving devices.
